In the period 28 March – 2 April, the international tournament will be held in the holiday paradise of Salou. Just south of Barcelona is the city with around 20,000 inhabitants, which in recent years has invested heavily in sports tourism. 

Here you will find CE Futbol Salou, which is one of the most modern and best football facilities in Spain and Europe. Here are a number of UEFA and FIFA-standardized artificial turf pitches as well as both natural grass pitches and hybrid pitches located less than 1 kilometer from accommodation options within walking distance to the beach. In the same area there are also several amusement parks.

The Costa Daurada Cup thus provides unique opportunities for both player development, recovery and fun for the whole family. 

This means that you can start this year’s Easter holiday with some fantastic days in Barcelona.

Salou has a fantastic seafront promenade from the centre of town down to the neighbouring town to the south, Cambrils. There is a rich selection of shops and restaurants, and of course easy access to sunny beaches.

If the golden sands along the Costa Daurada are not for you, there are several other local attractions for all tastes. 

A trip to the Nou Camp to see Barcelona is of course high on the to-do list for many, but the amusement park Port Aventura Theme Park, the water park Caribe Aquatic Park or the historical masterpieces Sagrada Familia and Gotic Quarter are also worth some attention of the extra-sporting. 

Great tournament

NF Academy has become a regular through appearances and successes in top European tournaments, and is Sporting CP’s extended arm in player development. The Portuguese and European big club naturally follows closely during both tournaments and training camps they like to collaborate with NF Academy on. 

The Costa Daurada Cup at Easter will be a new fantastic football tournament with a high international average for the young, dedicated and promising players from the academy ranks. 

In addition to group and cup games, NF Academy has added a training session before the actual tournament starts. There will be team meetings and concrete individual feedback, in addition to fun and learning for all the players.

All teams are led by an experienced head coach, and also have access to a staff including a goalkeeper coach and physiotherapist to ensure the best possible experience and development for everyone.

NF Academy has four teams with in the boys’ classes from U11-U16, as well as two teams for girls in the U14 and U16 classes with Sporting CP coaches. The Costa Daurada Cup is a tournament that provides good international references, but also forges new friendships between young players with the same goals on the football field.
