Join NF Academy for this summer’s big football adventure in Tallinn
The Tallinn Cup attracts both big clubs and lesser-known teams, where several thousand talented players from all over Europe meet in a major international tournament.
Now you can become part of NF Academy’s crew, while the holiday starts for the rest of the family.
It’s a couple of weeks into the school’s summer break, the spring season is finished, and many teams are taking summer vacation from organized training.
While the World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico rolls across the TV screens, Norway is running at half speed to follow Haaland and the Norwegian heroes in the best company.
During the same period, something happens in Tallinn that can send you one step closer to your dream of playing on the biggest stage sometime in the future.
Those who want to be the best coach when the others are resting, and NF Academy takes that expression on full volley this summer.
Because this week, you can actually do both in an absolutely fantastic setting.
In beautiful Tallinn, the whole family can have a fantastic holiday week. At the same time, you get a training camp and match arena that gives you a head start on the rest towards the autumn season with club, circuit or zone teams.
The Tallinn Cup provides both a top sporting offer as well as an opportunity for holiday experiences. In combination, something that is suitable for all our players in the Scandinavian countries.
This week, little is happening in a club context, and this summer’s football World Cup creates a longer break. Then we can offer a top international match arena and training with high quality with all facilities available, says NF Academy’s head coach Rodrigo Silva.

Quality training
Tallinn is within ferry distance of Helsinki and Stockholm, and by plane everyone can get to the Estonian capital from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland at an affordable price in no time.
The international youth tournament will be played from June 29. – 5 July. The magnificent football tournament has four match days, and experience shows that participating teams come from all continents. Both smaller and larger clubs can be found at the largest facility for football in the country, A Le Coq Arena.
NF Academy has five selection teams for boys in the classes 2012-2016.
The common thread in the player development model of NF Academy is easily identifiable in everything that happens on the field. The Portuguese methodology and training philosophy is to learn the game by playing it.
It is said that it takes 10,000 hours to reach an international top level, but the training must be both quality and goal-oriented, as well as intense and not least pleasurable.
In this way, you will always be a little better than yesterday, and often the best will be those who have played the most.
NF Academy therefore repeats the success of adding a training camp over three days before the start of the tournament. That means high-quality training, where a friendly match is part of the final touches before the seriousness breaks loose.
It gives the coaches more time to work with the team and each individual player. At the same time, the players get to know each other better off the pitch before the tournament starts. These first days will give the players a strengthened understanding of the way we want to play, as well as insight into our Portuguese training methodology, Silva continues.

Experiences in line
Tallinn’s Old Town is one of Europe’s finest with stunning historic architecture and bustling street life.
If you like grass better than stone, the Tallinn Cup offers great pitches for both training, play and matches. In other words, this is the perfect week for both sporting progress and recovery with access to exquisite facilities.
Over 150 teams are expected for this summer’s adventure in Tallinn, where NF Academy sends teams consisting of existing players and new talents who want to get to know better how well the academy works.
NF Academy is the European top club Sporting CP’s extending arm in Scandinavia. The club’s scouts keep a close eye on everything that happens during the program and tournaments. Which means that young talented players can have the opportunity to train in Portugal. Something more NF Academy players have received in recent years.
The training camp will strengthen the social and sporting aspects, so that we will see good team performances with a rising curve throughout the tournament. We know that there is potential to bring home trophies.
The players will also get new international references and inspiration to work even harder to achieve their goals, says NF Academy’s sports director Rodrigo Silva in conclusion.
