Join this summer’s big football party in Tallinn
While Norwegian football takes holidays when the grass is at its greenest, the Tallinn Cup kicks off with participants from all corners of the world. Now you can have an unforgettable family holiday and at the same time become part of NF Academy’s crew.
It is said that the best ones train while the others rest, and that phrase takes NF Academy on a full volley this summer. For now, you can actually do both in an absolutely stunning setting.
Schools are closed for the summer, and the spring season is completed in most leagues. Many are in vacation mode, and the fall points chase still a few weeks away.
Then it fits well with a holiday week in beautiful Tallinn, where the whole family can enjoy good days. Along with a training camp and battlefield that gives you a head start on the rest heading into the fall season at home.
The intention of the Tallinn Cup is to offer a summer cup destination suitable for all our players in the Scandinavian countries.
Tallinn is within ferry distance of Helsinki and Stockholm, and by plane our players and families can reach Tallinn from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland at an affordable price in no time, says NF Academy Sports Director Gonçalo Moura.

Training and peak resistance
The international youth tournament will be played in the Estonian capital from 3 – 7 July. The magnificent football tournament has four match days, and experience shows that participating teams come from all over the world. Both smaller and larger clubs can be found at the largest football facility in the country, A Le Coq Arena.
What is new for NF Academy is that the teams also schedule a training camp over three days in advance of the tournament start. That means high-quality training.
Something that has been in demand among the academy’s players and their guardians.
After the sports department’s experience over the last few seasons, we decided to put in a training camp. Where players can work alongside the coaches, and get to know each other better before the actual tournament starts.
These first few days will give the players a stronger understanding of the way we want to play, as well as insight into our Portuguese training methodology. At the same time, they can take part in the social experiences and leisure activities in the city centre, says Moura.

Perfect sets
The Old Town of Tallinn is one of Europe’s finest. It can feel like being part of a role-playing game from the Middle Ages, where you get fantastic historical architecture and bustling street life.
If you like grass better than stone, the fourteenth edition of the Tallinn Cup offers great pitches for training, games and matches. In other words, this is the perfect week for both sporting progress and recovery with access to exquisite facilities.
More than 150 teams are expected for this summer’s adventure in Tallinn, where NF Academy will send teams consisting of existing players and new talented ones who want to get to know how well they work in the academy.
We believe the training camp will strengthen both socially and athletically, so that we will see good team performances with an upward curve throughout the tournament. We know there is potential to bring home trophies.
The players will also get new international references and inspiration to work even harder to achieve their goals when they return home, NF Academy sporting director Goncalo Moura concluded.
