For motivated players
NF Elite Experience Camp is an international program, where players, family and coaching staff are based in the beautiful beach landscape of Estoril-Cascais. Two suburbs of Lisbon, which give the whole family many opportunities for a long-awaited break from snow and freezing temperatures.
This is the week you lay a good foundation for taking your next step in your development as a player as well as getting international references. At the same time, the optimal arena for preparing the players for zone circuits and national team selections.
You can qualify through participation in local programs such as Team Training and Autumn Training, which start this autumn in several places in Scandinavia. Or by applying for admission by being able to document the necessary level.
Winter in the north can be demanding to combine with quality in everyday training.
NF Elite Training Camp in the winter months is perhaps the most comprehensive program we offer. It is often part of the pre-season, and here the players get six sessions with the NF Academy coaches, plus the incredible experience of spending a day at Sporting CP Academy.
With two more sessions with the Sporting CP coaches and a match against Sporting CP’s youth team. There is a lot of football on the pitch, plus team and individual meetings to help the players absorb all the learning, Silva continues.
This program is well suited for players with a strong motivation for further development or who need new challenges. NF Elite Experience Camp is for both girls and boys born 2011 to 2016.
Players will be divided into groups by age and level.
The common thread
The social aspect is paramount next to life in the bubble as a full-time athlete. In addition, the players receive feedback and reports with evaluations from the coaches back home. So that they have an idea of what they should work more on to develop further in their own club.
NF Academy is the European top club’s extending arm in Scandinavia. Which means that young talented players can have the opportunity for training stays. There are several NF Academy players who have followed that route.
The Portuguese methodology has NF Academy as a common thread in everything that happens on the training field and in matches. Learning the game by playing it. Which means that most exercises will be similar to situations in combat, and one exercise element will be how the player should solve these in the best possible way.
NF Elite Experience Camp can also be the gateway to NF Academy’s international Elite Selection team. These participate in elite tournaments against some of the best clubs in Europe. The best players will also have the opportunity to be seen by Sporting CP who can give invitations to new training stays with the Portuguese big club.
Players are evaluated by our coaches and can qualify for new international opportunities and programs in 2026. The training sessions in the academy of Sporting as well as the matches against their youth team can provide opportunities for further training with the club.
At the same time, it is interesting to see the level our players hold measured by Sporting’s players. It provides important international references in what each player needs to work on to take their next step in their development, says head coach Rodrigo Silva in conclusion.
