Close collaboration
Lisbon is a great place to play football in October with its spring-like climate and the huge number of fantastic grass pitches. It is difficult to get better training facilities in the autumn and winter months for Scandinavian players.
NF Academy is also the Portuguese top club Sporting’s extending arm in Scandinavia, which means that young talented players can get opportunities for training stays. There are several NF Academy players who have followed that course.
The players are evaluated by our coaches and can qualify further for new international opportunities and programs in 2025. The training sessions in Sporting’s academy as well as the matches against their youth team can provide opportunities for further training with the club.
At the same time, it is interesting to see the level our players hold measured by Sporting’s players. It provides important international references in what each player needs to work on in order to take their next step in their development,” Moura continues.
The players should have a strong motivation to develop further. The program is well suited for those who seek development or need new challenges, and is for both girls and boys born 2009 to 2014. Players will be divided into groups by age and level.
Coaching course for parents
The trainings are led by some of the best coaches with their backgrounds from some of the most renowned academies in the world.
As part of player development, modern technology is also used in training and matches during the week in Lisbon.
Our coaching staff films all sessions and matches. These are useful tools for analyzing both team and individual performance in retrospect. It is also something scouts ask for when they take an interest in some of our players, says NF Academy’s sporting director.
The rest of the family can enjoy a wonderful holiday in October in the sun and seaside resorts of Estoril and Cascais. Located by the sea on the Portuguese Riviera. Just a short ride on the metro from the capital Lisbon.
