Modern holiday town

In the period 13 – 17 April, the international tournament is organized in the holiday paradise of Salou. Just south of Barcelona lies the city with around 20,000 inhabitants, which in recent years has invested heavily in sports tourism.

CE Futbol Salou is located here, which is one of the most modern and best football facilities in Spain and Europe. There are a number of UEFA and FIFA standardized artificial grass pitches in addition to both natural grass pitches and hybrid pitches located less than 1 kilometer from accommodation options within walking distance to the beach. There are also several amusement parks in the same area.

The Costa Daurada Cup thus provides unique opportunities for both player development, recovery and fun for the whole family.

That means you can start this year’s Easter holiday with some fantastic days in Barcelona.

Salou has a fantastic promenade from the center of the city down to the neighboring town in the south, Cambrils. Here there is a rich selection of shops and restaurants, and of course easy access to sunny beaches.

If the golden sands along the Costa Daurada aren’t your thing, there are several other local attractions to suit all tastes.

A trip to the Nou Camp to see Barcelona is of course high on the to-do list for many, but the amusement park Port Aventura Theme Park, the water park Caribe Aquatic Park or the historical masterpieces Sagrada Familia and the Gothic Quarter are also worth some attention from the non-sporting side.

NF Academy will participate with several boys’ teams and pure girls’ teams during the Costa Daurada Cup at Easter. It will be a new fantastic football tournament with a high international average for the young, dedicated and promising players from the academy’s ranks.

In addition to group and cup games, NF Academy has put in two training sessions before the actual tournament starts. There will be team meetings and concrete individual feedback, alongside fun and learning for all the players.

All teams are managed by an experienced Portuguese staff, including head coach, assistant coach, goalkeeper coach and physiotherapist to ensure the best possible experience and great development for everyone.

NF Academy fields teams in all boys’ classes from U12-U16, as well as teams for girls in the U16 classes. The Costa Daurada Cup is a tournament that provides good international references against solid Spanish teams, but also forges new friendships between young players with the same goals on the football pitch.
