Coaching courses for parents
The trainings are led by some of the best coaches with their backgrounds from some of the most renowned academies in the world.
The rest of the family can enjoy a wonderful summer holiday in October in the sun and seaside resorts of Estoril and Cascais. Located by the sea on the Portuguese Riviera. Only a short metro ride from the capital Lisbon.
A 2023 novelty was launched during the winter edition of the NF Elite Training Camp, and the success is repeated again in October.
Free coaching courses for parents.
During training sessions, parents can follow the players and coaches on the field. The exercises, main objectives and strategy will be explained. The coaches will share their knowledge and answer questions along the way. It’s important for us that parents understand what and why we work the way we do on the field in combat situations, Silva continued.
You don’t need a lot of prior knowledge of the coaching profession. Only curiosity for the game and interest in football. NF Academy hopes to both educate good coaches and give football parents better tools to support their hopefuls in their everyday lives.
The coaching course works for any parent interested in knowing more about football methodology and is not just for those who are already coaches. You don’t need any prior knowledge, the NF Academy coach said.
Professional training day
NF Elite Training Camp is a selection program. This means that you must apply to be admitted to the NF Academy system for this initiative, which is a week’s training with high quality.
The players train two sessions daily under coaches with top international academy backgrounds. In addition, you live and eat as a team, and have a lot of social leisure time together at a great hotel in Estoril within walking distance to the training arena.
Player development is always our priority. We always try to seek and create the most challenging and customized environment for all participants in our training programs, tournaments, local training camps or the team training concept, Silva said of the academy, which has gained an increasing number of younger players in recent years.
Through their participation in the NF Elite Training Camp, players also get the opportunity to be selected in the squads of the international Elite Selection teams and programs that participate in elite tournaments against some of the best clubs in Europe.
Get discovered
Through NF Academy’s partnership with top Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon, two of the training sessions are in the club’s highly acclaimed academy. There, training sessions are led by the Sporting academy’s own coaches, and the players get an insight into the professional everyday life as a player. The training facility is located right next to the majestic Estádio José Alvalade, Sporting’s home ground in the heart of Lisbon.
At regular intervals, NF Academy players are sent on trial stays at Sporting Lisbon. There will be scouts present during the training sessions and matches against Sporting’s academy team.
Successful training methodology
Sporting is a club with a proud history, which has nurtured great players like Figo and Ronaldo. In recent years, the top club has delivered a number of players to the Premier League and other major leagues in Europe.
Most of the players have attended the Sporting school from their young football years. It’s the same school that NF Academy’s coaches have been a part of. They give you a deep insight into the Portuguese football methodology, which is proven to be one of the most successful in the last ten years
During this season, many new and young players have started on their path in the NF Academy system. The fact that a large number of young players are constantly choosing our programs means that their parents trust and recognise the importance and impact we have on their children’s development.
It’s a clear sign of both growth and credibility, NF Academy coach Ricardo Silva said.
