Future Cup is a good place to start, for those players who are looking for major international tournaments or programs with our teams heading into summer and autumn. Future Cup attracts the best clubs from all over Scandinavia, but also has in it a number of larger and medium-sized clubs from Sweden, Denmark and Norway. For many teams and players, the Future Cup is the  finishing touch to form before the domestic league begins.

This international tournament will be played on April 6-10, i.e. Easter Saturday and the following two holidays. As you know, the start of the league in Norwegian top-flight football is 2. Easter Sunday, which means that the youth football series open a few weeks after the holiday season.

On Easter Saturday, the group stage of the tournament starts, while the finals are played on Easter Sunday. The arrival of the tournament is Good Friday, where a training session is also scheduled before the first match.

First steps

NF Academy field selection teams in U12, U14, U15 and U16. The teams are led by our professional and experienced Portuguese coaches, who will give the players concrete feedback and development points to take the next level. All players will also receive an evaluation report that will provide direction for further training work.

Future Cup is a tournament that provides good international references against foreign teams, but also creates new friendships between young players with the same goals on the football field. Here, the understanding of the game will be strengthened, and the players will gain important experience in integrating into new groups of players with players from different countries. Which will make the transition to a new club at a later date easier.

NF Selection Future Cup is a perfect program for young players. Through good performances in this tournament or via our other programs, we are also recruiting players for major international tournaments later in 2023.
